This is one of my favorite places for smoked meat. I first came here with a Groupon and I have been here 3 times, I have tried the brisket, pulled pork with their vinegar based BBQ sauce, ribs, prime rib, sweet potato, coleslaw, house salad, grilled veggies, cornbread and everything has been delicious, the service is excellent and friendly the atmosphere is great, this place is located in Batavia, but it is well worth the drive and the price is right. They also have a food truck. You will not be disappointed!!! The was enough food that I ate for 3 days. Why don't you just take the trip!!!

BBQ at CSSH is Heaven on a plate. I had the Texas Beef Bridkrt with slaw and Deviled eggs. My wife had the pulled pork. Both tasted fabulous. Batavia is lucky to have such a great defining institution. Inside it feels like you're in Texas, with the guitars displayed on the walls and the beautiful neon sign above the bar. This is the real deal. Enjoy it.

I loved this place! It is in an old brick building with a great neon sign out front and original front doors. There is a bar and small stage area with a few tables in the front. The back has lots of booths with tall sides/private feeling that make it a great place to bring kids and loud groups. Great clean, large, vintage-looking bathrooms...

We've never had a bad experience here. Always seated quickly and always served quickly and kindly. The restaurant is always clean and well kept. Important to point out that we usually go around 5 before the dinnertime rush.

Good food and a cool atmosphere. Great bands come in here and when Jackson center concerts are going on in the summer this place is full of energy. Good barbecue and decent prices. Love the feel in this place, with all of the vintage memorabilia and classic rock playing. Awesome stop in the summer for a good time. Recommend to everyone.
